New Fire Start on Simms Mesa

July 19, 2023 – Lightning storm came through Montrose and surrounding area late afternoon. Fire resources are responding and making their way into multiple new ignitions, including the new start on Simms Mesa. Some areas received heavy rain at the end of the storm, which will assist fire resources.
